Sue has lived in the area since 1986 and moved to Bradworthy in 2000. She is a retired nurse. She joined the Parish Council in 2019 and was elected Chairman in May 2021. Her leisure activities include playing skittles, gardening, walking and she is a very keen Formula 1 fan.
Vice Chairman
Lee is the Parish Council representative on Bradworthy Primary Academy and the Community Land Trust. As Vice Chairman he has a responsibility for matters relating to finance, parish assets and funding.
Richard was Chairman of the Parish Council from May 2017 until May 2021.He represents the Parish Council on Bradworthy Moor Graziers Association, as Churchwarden he represents the Parish Council on matters relating to the Church and is also the Parish Council representative in matters relating to Bradworthy Carnival.
Vanessa first moved to Bradworthy in 2000 with my family. Her youngest daughter went to pre-school in Bradworthy before moving over the border to Morwenstow. She returned to the village in 2016 with her partner and they both love living in the village. Vanessa enjoys walking her dogs and gardening.
As a member of the Parish Council Vanessa is particularly interested in local planning and represents and co-ordinates matters relating to public footpaths in the parish (along with Cllr Sue Lander and Cllr Val Stevens), she represents and co-ordinates matters relating to public footpaths in the parish (along with Cllr Sue Lander and Cllr Val Stevens) and sits on the Neighbourhood Plan Ambition Group which was set up to identify an ambition list from the draft Neighbourhood Plan.
Margaret represents the Parish Council on Holsworthy Area Advisory Group along with the Chairman, Sue Lander, and she also represents the Parish Council on the Langdon Trust and the Community Land Trust.
Graham has lived in Bradworthy since 2007 having re-located to the village with his family following a career at British Airways. He takes a keen interest in the activities within the village and has previously been a committee member of Bradworthy Social Club. He has also been a keen participant in a number of activities within the village including being a member of various teams including darts and skittles, supporting the carnival events and village football club. Graham currently works as Procurement Manager for Petroc College in Barnstaple having joined them in 2013. Before that he operated a retail business in Holsworthy.
Sarah has lived in Bradworthy for 25 years and was elected onto the Parish Council in 2011. She has been an active councillor ever since, having been involved in initiating the Community Land Trust and helping to drive the Collacott Close project to fruition. She has also been a key councillor on the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group. Sarah has a special interest in planning matters. She is part of the History Society, the Hedgerow Survey group, the Thursday Singing Group and undertakes riverfly monitoring on the River Waldon. She, along with the Chairman, represents the Parish Council in matters relating to planning and sits on the Neighbourhood Plan Ambition Group which was set up to identify an ambition list from the draft Neighbourhood Plan. She also has a responsibility for matters relating to finance, parish assets and funding together with the environmental matters.
Val represents and co-ordinates matters relating to public footpaths in the parish (along with Cllr Sue Lander and Cllr Vanessa Chapman) and sits on the Neighbourhood Plan Ambition Group which was set up to identify an ambition list from the draft Neighbourhood Plan.
Sheila represents the Parish Council on the Memorial Hall Committee and the Langdon Trust.
